I got a wild idea that I'd try a drugstore kind of look! So here it is!! I only used drugstore eyeshadow though... I'm still a fan of my higher end stuff... but ya never know, maybe I'll be converted back over!!
The eyeshadow I used was a L'oreal HIP duo in Precious 819. This is a 'crystal shadow' which means it is more metallic I guess? It looks like it would have lots of fall-out, but I put it over a cream shadow base (Urban Decay cream shadow in midnight rodeo), and I haven't had any issues! I used the more 'rose gold' half of this on the outer 2/3 of my lid, and used the 'light gold' color on my inner 1/3. I must say, I love the way this looks with blue eyes! If you are looking for something metallic for spring, and you have blue eyes, give this a look!

I also used a L'oreal product on my lips, it's the Colour Riche Balm in Pink Satin 118. It is very moisturizing, and just a nice light pink color, that slightly lightens my lips. I love the smell of this, and the wear time is very decent for a Balm as well! They had more colors, I might have to check some out! I think this is a little better version of Maybelline's Baby Lips, in my opinion.
So if you don't want to shell out the cash for a nice orange/rose eyeshadow from a higher end brand for spring, check out your drugstore! You might find something great and save a bunch! :-)
