Hair Products I love!!

So I've been branching out a little more with my hair care lately, and I thought I'd share my thoughts on some great things I've found!! And just for reference, I have relatively thin hair that doesn't like to hold curl. It tends to be on the drier side since I dye it, but hey, you gotta work with what ya got!! ;-)

First of all, the Aussie Three Minute Miracle. I hadn't used this stuff in ages, not since I was little, but I decided to check it out again because my hair feels a little fried from dying it now and again. So how is it compared to what I remember?? It's even better!!! I don't remember it smelling SOOO divine, but it sure does!!! Lots of coconut smell to it, and I LOVE coconut smells!! And as for the product doing what it says?? I do believe my hair is much more hydrated since I've used it a few times!! :-)

Second thing, the Redken Body Full Weightlifter volumizing finisher for normal/fine hair. I spray this in my hair before blow-drying, and it is amazing!! By far the best volumizer I have ever tried!! It feels like nothing in your hair, but I can totally tell a difference when I blow my hair out now!! Effortless volume that even lasts for more than one day!! I am seriously in love with this stuff!!

Third thing, I have gone through a few bottles of this stuff and I do believe it makes a difference, it is the Tresemme Heat Tamer Spray. It is a heat protectant spray that I use also before I blow-dry my hair. I do think it helps my hair not get as damaged as it would... I haven't tried a lot of different heat protectors, but this one is super cheap and definitely helps!!

Fourth and fith things, my pomade and hairspray. I use Pantene Pro-V Texture Pomade, and Pantene Pro-V Texture Hairspray (ultra hold). I love these products together!! I just use a little pomade to smoth out and texturize the ends of my hair, as well as add some texture to the back of my hair. Then I tease my hair just a little in back and spray on some texture hairspray. It certainly does the trick for me!! Both products are very cheap and give me great results!! I'm sure there are other more expensive pomades and sprays out there, but these give great results for the price you pay!!

As for shampoo and conditioner... I already mentioned the Aussie Three Minute Miracle, but I switch my shampoo and conditioner very often. For Christmas my sweet mother-in-law got me this great Matrix Biolage Color Care Shampoo and Conditioner, which I love!! It really hydrates and protects color treated hair well. I usually switch that up with my John Frieda Sheer Blonde Color Renew tone-restoring shampoo and conditioner. The John Frieda stuff is great for getting rid of brassiness in my blonde-ish hair, but I don't think it's quite as hydrating is the Matrix. If my scalp is giving me trouble with flakes, which is usually at the beginning of winter, I really like the Wal-Mart equate brand, their Pyrithione zinc 2 in 1 dandruff shampoo for dry scalp. It says it's safe for color-treated hair, but I haven't had to use it much lately. It is really moisturizing though, and I like it much more than Head & Shoulders.

So there ya go, a run down of my favorite hair stuff at the moment!! Hopefully someone gets something outta this, I love spreading the news about great beauty care!!
